About Sherrin's Threads:
Creating artwork through thread and textiles began at an early age for Sherrin Elliott. Growing up with a mother that regularly made clothing and created art through cross stitch, as well as a grandmother that knitted and crocheted, she was taught these and many other types of textile arts. Years later, Sherrin’s husband joined in partnership with a friend to open a music store that focused on ukuleles. Seeing the need for Hawaiian print straps to go with this Hawaiian instrument, she began her business in hopes of providing the local ukulele players with beautiful “Handmade in the USA” straps. This small business soon grew beyond the dreams that she had and is now a full fledged manufacturing business, but her attention to detail and quality product continues.
